Your guide, Jim Shuttleworth
Mexico's East Cape. Located 60 miles north of Cabo
San Lucas close to the small town of Los Barriles. See
map.
I invite you to spend a day or a week in pursuit of your
trophy fish. Whether it's fishing a size 20 midge to a
selective trout or a 8/0 squid fly to a Striped Marlin I will
teach you the correct tactics. My credo to my guests is
"Never let someone fish incorrectly".
My Interests
My greatest desire is to teach people how to fish the fly
with confidence. There are many reasons people don't
catch fish, the biggest reason seems to be "self taught
tactics", which can be good but usually aren't.
A large number of anglers only know one way to fish
their fly. I can open the door to more catching and less
casting. Again,my interest is for you to become a better
angler through education with a strong emphasis on
safety.
Highlights of your fishing trip
We invite you to view our Photo Album of caught and
released fish. In our sport where there's always new
situations at hand, whether it's new fly patterns, water
and weather conditions, the challenge continues. Let's
get your trophy photo in our gallery!
Dolly Varden on the Skagit

me. You'll have fun and learn a
lot too!
